Treasure Chest Training Videos – The Simple Step By Step Approach

Camtasia is kind of like magic. You can see me and here me and you can see what I am doing on the screen of my computer. How cool is that!

So I have become quite acquainted with the Camtasia software in recent times as a result of creating a whole range of training videos. These training videos will show you exactly how to use The treasure Chest Software. I can record training in bite size chunks and you can watch and pause the videos when ever you want and do exactly what I have just done. Cool HEY!

Check out the video and see what I mean.

I will be actually sending some Camtasia videos out to you if you have registered for The Treasure Chest Seminar. So look out for the secrets I will reveal in these videos very soon. Don’t miss out though you can only get access to these if you are registered for the seminar. You can find out how to do that by going to
http://www.treasurechestseminar.com.au

I look forward to sharing some great information with you via Camtasia videos.

Yours in easy learning

Family Memories Are Precious – Protect Them For Generations

This video was created on August 26th and coincides with the birth of our new and beautiful little niece Olivia Anne Aungle. She is such a precious little thing and I am sure you will agree when you see the video!

The day after the birth when we were visiting Sharon (my sister in law) she went to show us the photos on her camera. The camera’s memory card showed up as empty. All the pictures they had taken of the birth were gone!

Thank goodness Sharon and Greg had just purchased a digital camcorder about a month prior to Olivia’s arrival. Greg was smart enough to pull out the video at the birth and got some great footage.

These memories are sooooo precious but if Sharon and Greg had just had a digital camera they would have nothing of their first child’s birth. Not only does a digital camcorder capture movements, words and you in motion but they are a great back up for your digital camera if something goes horribly wrong. Vice versa the digital camera can back up your digital camcorder.

If you want to find out more about how to avoid these kinds of disasters and you are willing to help us raise money for the Kids HelpLine then attend The Treasure Chest Seminar. http://www.treasurechestseminar.com.au

Even if what you learn just saves you once then the 2 hours and $15.00 are a drop in the ocean compared to the grief of losing your precious memories.

I look forward to sharing my secrets with you at Waverley Library on Tuesday September 30th 2008.

Yours in precious family memories!

Video Training – Behind the scenes for the Quest

Check out the video on the training videos I have been creating in the last 2 weeks. Quite a mouth full really isn’t it!

I have been using Camtasia to record exactly what you need to do with The Treasure Chest Software. This amazing software captures what you are doing on your screen and allows you to record your voice at the same time. This makes it super easy to watch and learn about the software.

I will be releasing these training videos with the Treasure Chest Software once the web sites are all ready to go on September 30th 2008. This will all coincide with The Treasure Chest Seminar.

Stay tuned for more updates!

VIDEO EDITING - Great for Blogs and Your Memories!

I love video editing. Many people I talk to would love to know how to edit their video but they just don’t know where to start. If you are trying to teach yourself it is painstakingly slow! Trust me, I know, as that is exactly how I got started.

I use video editing to add details and text to my blog posts. You will see I have used many videos since I launched the Quest to raise money for Charity on my blog. As a part of the Treasure Chest Seminar I see it as imperative to discover video editing to help you preserve your family history on your computer. I will be discussing this in more detail on the night of the seminar.

What you can do with all your family videos though is truly amazing. You can add titles, title effects, transition effects (cool effects when it goes from one piece of video to another), music, voice overs and much much more. You can also trim down your video if you left your camcorder recording a little too long. It really makes enjoying your video nights a whole lot easier.

I will go into more depth at The Treasure Chest Seminar on September 30th but I thought I would show a very small amount of what I am doing with the Blog and encourage you to think about learning video editing to make amazing representations of your life’s memories for the future!

And now you should just watch the video.

I look forward to sharing a whole lot more soon.

1 VENUE - Booked And Paid For!

The venue has been officially booked; the cheque is written out, posted and received by the Waverley Library. The Theatrette is booked for September 30th. It is totally locked in.

It is time to amp up the marketing strategies and finalise the many other facets of the Treasure Chest Seminar. Some of these include the following:

  • Firming up corporate and brand supporters
  • Finalising my PowerPoint presentation for the big event
  • Contact and confirm the marketing partners who will assist us to raise funds by emailing our invitation out to their databases
  • Get the Press Release drafted, proofed and ready for release
  • Have the event registration site developed and completed
  • Have The Treasure Chest Software fully tested and the training videos completed
  • Email out the Treasure Chest Software to the trial database
  • Send the press release to the many applicable media outlets
  • Do a letterbox drop in the Bondi Junction area

There is a much larger list of tasks to complete apart from those listed above. We are aiming to raise well over $1000.00 for charity. That is our mission.

We are also aiming to teach 100 people how they can use technology to their advantage and leave an amazing legacy of their life with all the memories stored on their pc. Not only that but how they can protect the many memories on their computer so they are not lost forever! Very important information considering the number of people I have spoken to who have lost all their memories!

Stay tuned as I share the path to the big day with you.

Yours in making a difference,

Tim Lassig

Capture Your Amazing Life – Strategies for using your cameras

Many people I talk to comment on how they constantly struggle to remember to use their digital cameras (digital stills and video). It really just takes a couple of easy strategies and habits to turn this around completely.

Watch the video to learn how to make the most of using your digital cameras at all your special occasions.

You can’t relive, share or pass on your amazing memories or family history if you don’t capture it in the first place. You won’t regret it when you do.

Happy recording!
